    Chinese Game Publishers Grow Rapidly in U.S.

    Chinese game publishers made more than $600 million from App Store and Google Play users in the U.S. in the first half of the year, up by 52%. Total downloads grew 54% to nearly 200 million, according to data provider AppAnnie.

    Survival games remain the most popular genre, with Tencent's "PUBG Mobile" topping the list of downloads and NetEase's "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" coming in third.
    Puzzle games by smaller companies have climbed up the list, with "Love Balls" by SuperTapx and AppLovin ranking second, according to AppAnnie.
